Visa requirement
Most nationalities require a visa to enter Vietnam. Exceptions are listed below:
- 15-day Visa Free : Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden
- 21-day Visa Free : Philippines
- 30-day Visa Free : Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand
- 90-day Visa Free : Kyrgizistan

In order for V’EXPLORE TOURS to process this travel document request, you will need to send to us the following:
1. Application Forms
Provide 1 fully completed and signed copy of the attached application form(s).
The application(s) attached must be filled out using blue or black ink.
2. Photographs .
1 passport size and quality photograph is required.
3. Passport
Your passport with sufficient blank pages for any visa stamps. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months, beyond the visa validity date.

Please make sure that fields 10 and 11 are filled out completely to indicate the purpose of travel and include contact information in Vietnam. Visas are date specific. You must have dates of entry and exit on your application.
Please note that if you are traveling a CRUISE to Vietnam you need to apply for 1 Month MULTIPLE Entry Visa onboard.

- Rush fee per person: $ 120.00
Additional charges will apply for weekend, same-day and after-hours delivery.
Visa on Arrival at the Airport (Single-Entry Visa)
In order to obtain a visa on arrival, it is necessary to have an invitation letter from the Vietnamese Authorities.
Available Entry Points: Visa on arrival is available at the three international airports (Hanoi, Danang and Saigon).
Requirements:
1. Invitation letter from the Vietnam authorities (see procedure below)
2. Passport (must be valid for at least six months, and have one full page for the visa stamp)
3. Two recent passport photos
4. Visa application form

Approval Letter for Visa on arrival to Vietnam standard: US$50.00 per person –5 working days
Approval Letter for Visa on arrival to Vietnam Rush: US$75.00 per person – 3-5 working days
Stamping fee for Visa arrival at the airport US$25 per person (01 month visa & Single entry)
Stamping fee for Visa arrival at the airport US$50 per person (03 month visa & Multi entry)
Validity: Visa on Arrival is single-entry visa and is valid for 30 days after date of entry.
Procedure and Processing Time for obtaining an invitation letter:
It is necessary to submit the following details to apply the invitation letter:
- Passport details (full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport number, date of issue, date of expiry)
- Dates of travel
- Port of entry
- Specify single or multiple entry
Procedure and Processing Time on Arrival in Vietnam:
Hand over the passport, invitation letter, application form, passport photos and stamping fee for visa to immigration counter at the airport.
Average processing time is 30 minutes, but this may vary.
Multiple-Entry Visa
The multiple-entry visa is valid 30 days after the date of first entry; must be used within a year of being issued. This is required for all travellers who will leave and re-enter Vietnam on one itinerary (with the exception of travellers who connect immediately to an international flight but do not leave the international terminal. Travellers who connect to a domestic flight before connecting to an international flight must still apply for a multiple -entry visa. Additional surcharges may apply. Multiple-entry visa can be applied for upon arrival or from the embassy.
