Dear Joy--We head home tomorrow--this week of teaching in Hong Kong, with Michelle has b een wonderful--but I also have to tell you how great that trip through Cambodia, Laos, and Viet Nam was--- outstanding. Bill and I would recommend it to any of your customers. Please tell your Viet Nam contact how well planned we think it was, and the guides were outstanding. We did get a GI bug in Laos, but we loved that country. Not sure what we ate because everything seemed fine and the hotel was lovely--though we couldn't get on the Internet. However, we could have stayed in that hotel on the Mekong for a week or two. By the way, the trip did require a lot of cash but we were able to get cash machines--probably close to $1000. We had visas we had to pay cash for in both Cambodia and Laos and also the tips for drivers and guides, laundry, and purchases. American cash was always accepted. I would recommend that people take $1000 for a two week trip, and also a bottle of cipro. We also took the anti-malaria medication, and I am glad we did because I got bit by a number of mosquitoes--always do, and some big bug in Viet Nam, more like a wasp. However, in spite of these things, it was a wonderful trip and we learned so much. We had wonderful discussions with our guides--about the changes in Viet Nam, and the leadership of Ho Chi Min. Fascinating. Donna

photoThanks so much for leading us through the maze of a new city! We loved Saigon and the Mekong Delta--you made it all more fun and were so concerned and caring we always felt in very good hands. You got our top marks for a great guide! Thank you so much,
